Waking up freezing the coffee was tasting extra good. The other PH and my client's friend were back with no luck. The is a clever cat.
Whilst having some breakfast and discussing their next trip the clients opted to leave the next day and head to Victoria Falls for a few days before the long trip home. So we managed to organise a charter plane the following day. A great safari was had and alot of luck was on their side. #Omay #Chap #Leopard #VictoriaFalls
Waking up and chatting to the other PH about the leopard, he had left the blind at 9.30pm. Nothing had fed yet. They went and hunted a buffalo while myself and my client checked other baits for them. They managed to get a good buffalo bull. They got word the leopard fed after they left. My Client and I drove around in the afternoon enjoying the fresh air asthe other PH and my client's friend were in a blind again. Dinner was great. Tender sirloin steaks.
We will hopefully be
6am came quick as a long night sleep was had. Myself and the other ph went to see what had happened at the bait. On arrival it had been eaten. Me being Mr Clever here forgot to put on the camera. Anyways a good track was found and they built a blind for that afternoon. My client and I drove around the area to try find fresh buffalo tracks. None were found ..
Having dinner and waiting up a bit we eventually went to bed.. #Chap #Omay #Leopard #Buffalo
We had coffee and breakfast then went across the concession to check baits for the other crew while they hunted buffalo. A leopard had eaten so we put up a motion camera. There was a lot of meat left so it could feed a few more days.
Back in camp that evening the other crew had seen buffalo but never got that lucky as to kill one.
Buffalo steaks were well appreciated and a good rest was had #Chap #Omay #Buffalo #Leopard
With nothing remaining on my client's list our day was not rushed. We got up at 6 had some breakfast and coffee and drove two hours to some other leopard baits. We were gonna check them for the other PH and My Client's friend. They still got a leopard to get. They went in the opposite direction to check a few other baits. Returning to camp by lunch time we had a great meal and had decided to try make a new road along a boundary river. Doing very well managing to open just a li
Up early again leaving before the sun was up we took a long walk searching for bush pigs. We even tracked a small group but unfortunately they left out concession into the neighbors property. After lunch we were able to get a shot at a beautiful African wild cat which Client 2 was delighted to get. Shortly after photos were taken the trackers spotter a mob of bush pigs. We drove past them then stalked back, just as we were getting into position they either smelt or heard us a
With a freezing 6 o'clock wake up we had a few cups of coffee then off we were. We had gone a few miles and say some buffalo tracks. Trackers set out with radios a not very long they called us to say they have them in sight.
Driving to the nearest point we got out and walked five hundred yards and saw them.
An hour later after looking them over and dodging the confused wind, we saw a suitable bull which presented a good shot. The trophy bonded bear claw hit hard.. A mere
We had breakfast and tea and left before sun up today we would check out baits then walk and look for bush pig and baboon. Unfortunately nothing on the baits so we took a long walk hoping to bump into bush pig but we saw only Impala and waterbuck. In the afternoon we took a drive along a dam not far from camp seeing several bushbuck but nothing worth shooting. In the evening we spent an hour with a spotlight looking for small cats and jackel unfortunately we saw none. Tomorr
My client has shot many buffalo in the years of hunting but this would be his last safari in Africa, so he said he would like one more buffalo. We drive forty mins out of camp and found fresh tracks. Sending the tracker to look which direction and if there were any roads near as age and walking is a huge part of buffalo hunting here. They had been gone thirty mins and called us saying they cold hear the buffalo. Driving to a mere two hundred yards of there we set out.. com
Up before it was light had some breakfast then headed out to check on our baits, nothing had hit so we took a walk looking for a klipspringer for Client 2, we saw a pair but we were a little to slow as they took off up the hill. Back for lunch then off again at about two o'clock. We took another walk up a big granite hill where I had seen some klipspringer before. It wasn't long before the tracker spotted on moving behind some rocks. We slowly crept up to where we had last se
