Today back on the tracks of the herd inside the hunting area, hoping to move in front of the herd and check them 1 by 1 as they shuffle past. The sharp bark of a kudu bull created chaos.... Not only by sending the buffalo scampering everywhere, but frightening poor my client who kicked his big toe on a stump, in haste to retreat. We decided to leave the buffalo and come back after lunch. At camp my client doctored his toe and we set off again. We again found the herd and moved as much as we could in and around them, looking for the cow with a snare. Unfortunately to no avail, and the sun disappeared over the horizon and got dark. Tomorrow would be the last day.
